VeraxIT Staffing Solutions is a founder-led practice built on one idea: infrastructure candidates are best judged by someone who has actually done the work.

I came from the work, not from recruiting.

A note from the founder

I'm Kokro Roberts, and I started VeraxIT.

For more than fifteen years I worked in infrastructure IT — across manufacturing plants, an enterprise environment with hundreds of endpoints, and an industrial refinery where the business and operational networks had to stay strictly separated. I've configured switches and built out VLANs, run and terminated Cat6 in a warehouse, spliced and tested fiber on a data center build, stood up wireless, administered servers and virtualization, and supported live production networks where downtime wasn't an option.

That background is the whole reason VeraxIT exists. Over the years I watched capable technical people get passed over, and shakier ones moved forward, because they were being judged on keywords and certifications instead of whether they could do the job. The recruiters were doing their best — but most had never terminated a cable, read an OTDR trace, or been on the hook when a production network went down. There was a real gap between what these roles required and how candidates were being evaluated.

I started VeraxIT to close that gap.

I'm not a career recruiter, and I don't pretend to be — that's exactly the point. What I bring is the technical side. I evaluate infrastructure candidates by hand, the way someone who has done the work would, and I hand recruiting teams people who hold up. I'm not here to compete with recruiters or step into their client relationships; I'm here to be the technical layer in their pipeline — sourcing and screening infrastructure talent so they can focus on placing it. I've never treated security as a separate question, either. You can't honestly evaluate a network administrator today without it, so it's just part of the read.

It's a deliberately small, relationship-driven practice. I'd rather be the person a few recruiting teams rely on for their hardest infrastructure roles than a volume shop that submits everyone and sorts it out later.

What this means for your pipeline

Every candidate I bring you comes with a structured technical screening summary — what they can actually do, where the gaps are, and what to confirm in the interview. You get fewer misqualified submissions and less guesswork decoding resumes, and your candidates reach your client already vetted by someone who understands the work.

Background at a glance

  • 15+ years in infrastructure IT across manufacturing, enterprise, and industrial environments
  • Networking — Cisco and Aruba switching, VLANs, wireless, LAN/WAN
  • Structured cabling and fiber — Cat6 runs, fiber termination, splicing, OTDR testing
  • Systems — Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware virtualization
  • Firewalls and segmented IT/OT environments
  • Production support where uptime mattered

(These reflect real hands-on experience across infrastructure — not a claim of specialization in any single domain.)

Working a hard infrastructure role? Let's talk it through.
